We are hiring for Release Train Engineer for our Consulting Client. This is a Melbourne-based project for an initial 6-month+ contract.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Play a key leadership role with a focus on managing end-to-end delivery across the different delivery teams and external vendors.
- Deliver initiatives to time, budget, and quality parameters set down by the project sponsor and/or governing bodies.
- Collaborate with Technology Leads, Value Stream Managers and key stakeholders to understand and schedule the delivery.
- Contribute to the development and management of quarterly business plans for the purpose of securing additional resource if required.
Skills and experience:
- Experience with Lean and Agile frameworks, especially the Scaled Agile framework.
- Experience managing and leading IT projects.
- An understanding of the company's budget and how budgeting works.
- An understanding of which metrics are beneficial and should be tracked, how these metrics should be interpreted and how the project course can be corrected even if the findings are showing dramatic risks.
- Strong communication, negotiation and critical thinking skills
