The role:
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for increasing the reliability of all fixed plant assets on site through analysing equipment performance aimed at eliminating defects and minimising down time and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation, facilitating reliability systems and processes and maintaining reliability best practice and risk management.
Selection criteria:
A tertiary qualification in mechanical or chemical engineering is preferred with post-graduate qualifications in Reliability Engineering or equivalent experience in Reliability Engineering. You will need to be confident in applying maintenance and reliability methodologies (FMECA, RCA) and have a background in chemical processing, material handling equipment, mining or heavy industry. Your high-level analytical and project management skills will see you secure this rewarding 12-month contract role.
