The role
The Mechanical Reliability Engineer is responsible for increasing the reliability of all fixed plant assets at site through analysing equipment performance aimed at eliminating defects and minimising down time. As the Mechanical Reliability Engineer, you will identify and deliver asset improvement projects and asset management plans, conduct failure analyses using RCA, identify opportunities for cost optimisation, facilitate reliability systems and processes and maintain reliability best practice and statutory compliance.
Selection Criteria
To be successful, you will need a degree in mechanical engineering and knowledge of reliability and asset life planning strategies. You will also need to have sound experience in fixed plant and underground mine assets. Your excellent interpersonal and leadership skills together with your knowledge of statutory regulations will see you succeed in this dynamic role. There is a possibility of a permanent role attached to this contract.
