Reliability Engineer - Mount Isa

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, qualified Engineer to join our team in Mount Isa.

A little bit about the role:

• Establish and maintain strong customer rapport by identifying and understanding their needs and requirements including onsite data collection.
• Supervise/perform mechanical maintenance activities related to bearings, power transmission and their components.
• Provide and coordinate condition monitoring and reliability services for strategic customers, including onsite data collection.
• Work with Applied's Engineers, Product Specialists, Technicians and Sale steam to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare technical offers and solutions in coordination with the Service Manager.
• Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
• Develop new opportunities through existing and new customers.

• Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work as part ofa team or autonomously as required.

In addition to the above you'll also:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Have demonstrated experience in the field of mechanical maintenance, condition monitoring and asset reliability.
• Knowledge of bearings, power transmission and condition monitoring products and their applications (essential)
• Vibration Analysis Certification - ISO CAT 1 or CAT is advantageous.

Due to the locations of our customers shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment to allow access to site.
