Tip Top Bakeries is currently seeking applications for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team on a Full Time basis at our Dry Creek site.
Roster:
This will be a Full Time role on a rotating shift of 4 days on / 4 days off. This will comprise of 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts followed by 4 days off.
Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of the role of the Maintenance Fitter Position is to assist with:
- Breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks
- Fabrication, welding and machining tasks
- Pneumatic fault diagnosis
- Involvement reliability projects
- Involvement in continuous improvement teams
- Intermediate control system process and fault diagnosis
- System data entry
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification (essential)
- Relevant post trade courses.
- 3 - 4 years of industrial maintenance experience (Food Industry experience preferred)
- Fabrication and machining skills (desired)
- Intermediate pneumatics / hydraulics skills
- Computer literate.
- Automation experience (advantageous)
- Sound decision making skills.
- Year 11 or equivalent (desired)
