The Role:
We are seeking a Religious Education Teacher to join the college on a full-time ongoing basis, starting from Term 2, 2024. As a key member of the faculty, you'll have the opportunity to inspire students and deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching Religious Education: Design and deliver engaging lessons that explore Catholic teachings, scripture, and values, fostering spiritual growth and reflection among students.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a dynamic and relevant Religious Education curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners and aligns with the school's mission and values.
- Fostering Community: Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and supported in their faith journey.
- Ensuring Child Safety: Demonstrate a commitment to the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children in our care, in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the overall success of the school community.
This is a full-time ongoing position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and contribute to the rich tapestry of Catholic education. The successful applicant will hold a Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration and demonstrate a genuine commitment to Catholic education and the welfare of our students.
