About the role
Leading independent girls’ school, Camberwell Girls Grammar School, presents an opportunity for an RE Teacher to join our team on a permanent basis in 2025. With the option of working in a full-time or part-time (0.8FTE) capacity, you will be teaching years 7-10 Religious Education and leading our Service Learning program as Head of Department.
The purpose of Service Learning at Camberwell Girls is to develop an attitude of Service to others and to provide learning opportunities that will help students to progress personally in the values of integrity, commitment, respect, hope and courage. Our School motto and Christian Anglican identity calls us to be of Service in the local community and broader world.
CGGS teachers have an excellent understanding of effective pedagogical practices and contemporary learning design with strong interpersonal and communication skills. A passion for girls' education is essential for your success.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Previous experience teaching Religious Education to secondary students in a school setting
- Previous experience managing or leading a co-curricular program
- Current registration with Victorian Institute of Teaching
