Form of workCuris Recruitment is excited to partner with this fantastic Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation based in the APY Lands to help them find a Remote Area Nurse to join their team on an agency contract basis.
Job Detail
- $93.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday clinic role - supported by a nurse and doctor on-call and after hours
- Agency employed
- 3 weeks minimum and up to 12 weeks available
- Transport and accommodation fully provided and booked for you
The clinics are modern facilities staffed by a multidisciplinary team comprising of: Aṉangu Health Workers, Nurses, Medical Officers and supported by Programme Coordinators to provide clinical care to each local community.
Your job as a Remote Area Nurse will be to relieve the Community Health Nurses when absent from clinics on leave.
In order to be eligible, you must:
- Strong clinical experience including; Acute Medicine, Accident & Emergency, Proven Communication Skills.
- Full AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Current police check from within the last 12 months
- Current NT working with Children's check or the ability to get this prior to your start
- Minimum three years post graduate experience in Acute Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- Remote Area Nursing experience ideal however not essential
