A minimum of three years' Remote Area experience is preferred. Broad primary healthcare experience and advanced clinical skills will be highly regarded, and candidates with other experience may suit our environment. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of primary health care principles and be willing to apply these in a remote Aboriginal community setting.Candidates who are open to change, open to learning more about Aboriginal health, and comfortable living in a cross-cultural and diverse Aboriginal community setting will be best suited to this position. You'll enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same, so resourceful and creative candidates who are seeking a rewarding role will be highly regarded.The successful candidate must hold an Ochre card (or be willing to obtain), a valid Australian Driver's License with the ability to drive manual vehicles, a vaccination status that allows you to work with vulnerable people and be willing to undergo a National Police check before commencing employment.About the Area:Located about 200km south of Darwin, the Big Rivers region is one of the most diverse regional communities in the Northern Territory.
