- Up to $121,000.00 per annum + 11% superannuation
- Contracts available from 8 weeks and up to 6 months

- Remote location situated on the north coast of Arnhem Land
- ASAP start date, ideally April/May - when are you ready?
- Providing Primary Healthcare services such as general health assessments, health promotion, immunisations, and preventive health screenings to individuals and families within the community.
- Managing chronic health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory diseases through regular monitoring, medication management, and lifestyle counseling.
- Understanding and respecting the cultural beliefs, practices, and preferences of Indigenous communities and incorporating cultural considerations into healthcare delivery to ensure services are culturally safe and respectful.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting clinical assessments and interventions, and preparing reports for regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and program evaluation purposes.
- One of the largest Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory, with a population of around 2,500 people.
- Situated in the Northern Territory on the north coast of Arnhem Land, approximately 500km east of Darwin.
- Access to a school (Preschool to Year 12), creche facilities, police station, post office, banks, ATMs, Centrelink, swimming pool, supermarkets, commercial accommodation, arts & crafts centre, and other necessary amenities.
- Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions
- At least (3) years of nursing experience in a remote setting
- National Crime Check, or willingness to obtain
- Current Working with Children's Check, or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated proficiency in providing Primary Healthcare services, with a focus on culturally safe and patient-centered care.
- Prior experience working in remote or rural healthcare settings, particularly with Indigenous communities, demonstrating an understanding of the cultural, social, and environmental factors that influence health outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport, and establish trustful relationships with patients, families, and community members.
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage patient records, documentation, and reporting requirements accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols.
