- Continuously monitor and assess patients' vital signs, neurological status, and response to treatment.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage equipment such as ventilators to stabilize and support patients in critical condition.
- Regular assessment of patients' conditions, including neurological status, respiratory status, and response to treatments.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically under pressure, analyse complex situations, and make sound decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes to patients.
- Understanding of patient safety and quality education and delivery of services in accordance with the National Patient Safety and Quality Standards, Work Health & Safety Act, and Ministry of Health risk management frameworks
- Bachelor of Nursing qualification (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 2 years working in remote or rural healthcare settings
- Recognised Post Graduate qualification in Emergency Care Nursing and/or 2 years equivalent clinical experience in the field.
- Evidence of prior service
- Specific qualifications or Training for specialty area
- National police certificate
- A valid and up to date Ochre Card
- Up to date vaccinations
