As a group, we are growing rapidly and as part of the (QEJP) , actively helping to advance the energy transition towards net zero.About your new role:Our Operations division within Renewables and Embedded Generation has multiple permanent opportunities for a Renewable Technical Service Person to join the team located in Brisbane North. This position will be part of the workforce that will be directly involved in the delivery of renewable and energy storage initiatives, which will enable the progressive change to the industry and our network.As a Renewable Technical Service Person, you will be a highly skilled tradesperson performing construction, maintenance, and repair of renewable, energy storage and high voltage substation systems. You will be involved in the end-to-end product lifecycle including production line assembly through to installation on the network. Additionally, you will perform inspections and tests on network plant and equipment, and record defects found while providing technical guidance, on job coaching and instruction to colleagues. Finally, you will display and apply technical knowledge whilst constructing and maintaining the distribution and transmission network which includes functions such as Substations or workshops.The remuneration for your new role starts from $106k plus allowances, plus 12.75% super for a 9-day fortnight. The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of your knowledge, skills and competencies required in the position.About you:You will have strong communication and organisational skills as you will be working in a team environment and liaising with stakeholders. You will also possess fundamental knowledge of the construction and maintenance of electrical assets with a desirable knowledge of renewable and energy storage systems.Critical to your success in the role is your:

• Trade qualification with a Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence or equivalent.
• Current C class open drivers licence is essential, with a MR or HR licence being an advantage.
• Relevant industry experience in the installation, repair, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Availability to participate in call out/emergency work and overtime as required.
• This position will be required to travel intrastate.
• You will be required to complete a pre-employment medical.
