THE ROLE
We are looking for a Repair OR Project Coordinator experienced in Insurance Building.
This office-based position involves scheduling of the inspections and assisting with the make safes. You will work closely with various stakeholders, allocate resources, liaise with councils and suppliers, and assist in on-site activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Appointment Scheduling
- Task Coordination
- Efficiency Enhancement
- Time Management: Prioritize and manage scheduling requests and changes to ensure timely completion of tasks and events.
- Maintain clear and open communication with policyholders, explaining the steps being taken to secure their property and providing updates on progress.
- Collaborate with all parties to streamline the overall claims process and keep everyone up to date.
- Maintain accurate records of actions taken, expenses incurred, and materials used during the make-safe process.
- Cost Management
- Make informed decisions about resource allocation, materials, and repair techniques to ensure effective and efficient temporary repairs.
- Customer Service:
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with distressed policyholders, understanding their concerns and addressing their questions.
- Answering phones and stakeholders’ queries
- Liaising with stakeholders where needed to ensure they are all aware of the claim progress
- Seeking answers from internal employees to assist external stakeholders.
ABOUT YOU
- Must have experience with Insurance Building, Make Safes and Scheduling
- Previous experience in a similar role essential (minimum 2 years)
- Exceptional customer service skills and strong communication abilities are a must.
- Organised and able to meet set deadlines
