Introduction
Join Metso on an 5/2:4/3 roster at Karratha's newest and best equipped repair facility. We are seeking a Repairs Coordinator - Team Leader, to join our Service team in the newly built Metso Karratha Service Centre.
This position is a residential role in Karratha.
What you'll do

  • Lead a team of coordinators in their everyday duties, provide support and guidance to enable team members to achieve their potential.
  • Monitor and report DIFOT on a weekly basis.
  • Have regular one on one discussions with team members.
  • Complete three-monthly forecasting of invoicing and order intake
  • Liaise with customers, and/or sub-contractors in regard to jobs arriving for repair.
  • Ensure all jobs are entered and maintained in approved Repairs systems,
  • Create and issue work packs to internal workshops or vendors to strip and assess items
  • Obtain relevant drawings and technical information and develop repair scopes of work.
  • Create cost estimates and detailed customer proposals
  • Undertake planning and scheduling activities in conjunction with the relevant team members and external teams/vendors.
  • Issue job packs with repair scopes of work and drawings to internal workshops and to sub-contractors under the Metso 'Document control' system.
  • Maintain the team job register to the required standards in a timely fashion
  • Answer technical queries from the workshops and vendors and advise on repair methods
  • Conduct regular QA /QC inspections, ensuring repairs are to Metso Outotec standards.
  • Inspect all jobs prior to dispatch and sign off relevant documentation
  • Ensure Manufacturers Data Records (MDRs) for each job are created and submitted withing the customer specified dates, conduct random quality checks of MDR's to be submitted
  • Review the profit margin achieved for each job
  • Lead regular team meetings
  • Attend customer meetings, update on job progress and answer technical queries
  • Maintain continual communication with customers both internal and external, verbally, through emails, via work in progress reports and in meetings
  • Investigate all negative customer feedback, put in place corrective actions to prevent a reoccurrence and respond appropriately to the customer
Who you are:
Essential
  • 5 years Repairs Experience and associated skills
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Sound understanding of repairs business
  • Customer liaison skills
  • Planning and scheduling skills
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SAP and Internet
Desirable
  • Metso product experience
  • QA/QC auditing experience
  • Financial reporting experience
