About the team

As part of our manufacturing team, you'll be involved in the process of converting raw materials into customer-ready products. You'll work alongside a diverse group of individuals with different backgrounds, cultures, personalities, and beliefs, much like the communities we serve.
About the Role
This role supports with the procurement of inventory items, consumables and services required to run our “ready-made meals” manufacturing facility.
Raise purchase orders, manage supplier relationships and maintain a product and supplier database with the focus of inventory availability across the site.
This is a part time (0.8 FTE) vacancy and we are flexible on how this is spread across the week.
You will also:

  • Manage and maintain product trackers and oversee inventory reporting for our Head of Site
  • Assist in sourcing new suppliers locally and globally to deliver best possible outcomes whilst minimising supply risk
  • Assist in the regular audit of preferred suppliers' record keeping to ensure adherence to our policy's and industry standards
  • Forecast stock usage patterns and make recommendations for adjustments based on trends
  • Assist in weekly, monthly and annual stock take
About you and your skills
You will have:
  • Previous experience in a similar procurement role in a large complex environment
  • Intermediate-advanced skill level with Microsoft excel
  • Excellent communication skills to maintain supplier relationships
  • Ability to problem solve and think analytically
