The Organisation:
With a long standing positive reputation in the local community, this not for profit, welfare organisation provides services that includes Residential Aged Care, Home & Community, Day Care programs and Respite Care.
The role:
In this stand alone HR role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Line Managers' across all services, with recruitment support and advice and ensure smooth HR operations within the organisation.
Duties will include:
- Efficiently manage end to end recruitment processes, collaborating with internal line managers across all services.
- Staff record management
- Preparation of employment contracts
- On-bording of new employees
- Regularly review and update HR policies & procedures
- Assisting with identification and creation of new training modules and opportunities.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of EBA's, SCHADS and salary reviews
- Participate in planning meetings with CEO and ensure a workforce planning strategy is in place
- Employee Relations including management of staff disputes, grievances etc.
- Performance management
- Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Commission and Fair Work laws and regulations are adhered to.
This is a stand alone position within HR and will therefore require someone who has strong communication skills, well developed experience in an aged care setting and ability to support key stakeholders with all HR related matters.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR/Business or relevant discipline
- Previous HR experience, working in Residential Aged Care, Home & Community Care or a Health related organisation
- High level understanding and ability to interpret complex healthcare awards
- Highly organised with ability to multi-task in a fast paced, everchanging environment
- Current Police check and NDIS workers screening check
- Proof of Influenza and Covid vaccinations
