The person in this role will work closely with the management team to assist in the effective human resource management of our employees. There will be a need to work closely with the Quality/Safety officer.
A team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and high attention to detail are essential. To be considered for this role you will have;
- Minimum Cert 4 in Human Resources
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Capacity to multitask and prioritise
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite in particular Excel
- Previous HR and Administration experience
- Injury Management experience (not essential)
- Knowledge of modern Awards and NES, and general workplace legislation.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Recruitment through to onboarding. Including advertising, coordinating interviews, screening, employee file preparation and induction.
- Assist with the management of separations and terminations and advise management on legislative requirements and best practise procedures.
- Assist with policy development and implementation.
- Assist managers with performance management and disciplinary processes.
- Maintaining the Company's Safety System - MYOSH
- Liaising with HSEQ and Insurers in regards to all Workers Comp claims and Injury Management claims
- Provide assistance to Payroll
- General adhoc administrative tasks
- Assist with covering a busy switch board
You will report to the Office Manager and learn all facets of the administration department and provide cover to those duties whilst others are on leave.
