Becoming a data driven education institute is a BKI strategic priority and in this newly created role as a Report Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the Performance and Reporting team, contributing to the creation, enhancement, and upkeep of Executive and Senior Management reports. Using your expertise in Power BI connected to Azure Cloud, you will craft reports and dashboards, with the aim in providing provide user-friendly, interactive, and insightful visualizations.
Close collaboration with Performance and Reporting Business Insight Leads and members of the data engineering and analytics teams will be essential. This partnership ensures alignment between business needs and technical capabilities, translating requirements into impactful and scalable Key Performance Indicator visualizations. By doing so, the Report Developer facilitates strategic data-driven decision-making processes.
We are excited about you because you have:
- Expertise in PowerBI or an ability to show that you can easily quickly transition from Power BI alternatives (e.g. Tableau, Qlik).
- PowerBI (or equivalent) report visualisation, DAX, data modelling
- Ideally experience with PowerBI Service and Power Query
- SQL expertise desirable
- Experience in efficient and scalable end-to-end report development and maintenance.
- Experience in developing and applying robust reporting and data documentation and governance.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in simple terms.
- Collaborative mindset with an ability to work effectively in cross-functional agile teams
- A positive mindset, being committed, working hard, and embodying a "doer" mentality.
