The Opportunity
We are looking for a high-energy and self-driven Reporting & Compliance Manager to lead our high-performing accounting team and to be accountable for ensuring the Group’s financial records comply with our legal, regulatory (including ASX) and organisation’s policies.
This role is responsible for ASX Group reporting plus compliance with company regulatory and policy frameworks, including statutory obligations at Half Year & Full Year, Annual Report, AGM requirements, single entity accounts, and controls monitoring.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage the creation & distribution of monthly Trading Packs to the Group’s executive team and Board of Directors.
- Process controls & governance in place to ensure adherence with all accounting standards (AASB).
- Engage with the external audit team to ensure successful half-year and full-year audits.
- Statutory Accounts to meet reporting & financial disclosure requirements per ASX listing rules.
- Led and manage a high-performing accounting team.
- Provision of technical accounting advice to business
- CA Qualified
- 5+ Years of experience as a Senior Accountant.
- Big 4 audit experience preferred but not essential.
- Experience in technology or telecommunications industry preferred.
- Experience across relevant finance disciplines (ASX reporting, audit, technical accounting, financial and management reporting, regulatory reporting).
- Track record of identifying and driving out change through productivity improvements.
- People leadership skills and previous experience managing a team.
- Ability to think commercially and strategically
