The role provides research support across the CRE programs of work, and project support for the Equity & Diversity stream of work, which includes programs that address the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, migrant and refugee, and rural and remote communities.

Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900
About You
You will have a Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field e.g. public health; epidemiology. You will also meet the below criteria:
- Strong knowledge of ethics and governance processes and experience in the submission of applications
- Skills in data management and analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated high level of competence in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and intermediate Excel
- Excellent organisational skills, including an ability to prioritise workload and maintain attention to detail in a high-volume environment.
- Previous experience in setting work priorities and meeting deadlines. Previous experience with project coordination will be viewed favourably.
- Experience coordinating research-related events such as workshops, seminars and largescale meetings
- Endnote reference management experience
- Experience with report writing, and with the formatting of research publications including data tables and figures
- Experience in providing comprehensive and high-level research administration support, including a proven capability to operate effectively in a complex work environment
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the NHMRC National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Research Involving Humans.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and/or migrant and refugee communities (Desirable)
