We are currently seeking a Museum Research Assistant to support our Museum team in an exciting new project - redevelopment of the RBA Museum exhibition. This role will have you working closely with the Bank's Curator to identify information sources, archival objects and external media assets. This position is a one-year fixed term contract.
Your contribution to the team:
- Researching a wide range of resources for new concept areas.
- Presenting to stakeholders on research findings.
- Sourcing objects and media assets.
- Identifying copyright holders.
- Maintaining a register of copyright information.
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Applied knowledge in research integrity and ethics.
- Experience in a museum or cultural institution would be highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of copyright.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Great attention to detail.
