Applications are invited for Research Assistant/s (RAs) at Biosceptre to work on a production and research project to develop a novel CAR-T cell immunotherapy for cancer. This is a fantastic opportunity for researchers to enter a productive laboratory in a dynamic and professional organization and to work directly with the principal investigator in this exciting research program.
The position is available from March 2024. The successful candidate/s will work closely with Biosceptre’s R&D team on activities in relation to CAR-T cell generation and functional screening, protein purification, and genomic editing work at our Children’s Medical Research Institution (Westmead, NSW) location. The candidate will perform techniques that include (but not limited to) primarily cell culture, flow cytometry, PCR, qPCR, CRISPR technology, and murine animal models. Applicants should hold a BSc or equivalent in biological or biomedical sciences with skills in cell and molecular biology techniques. Cell culture and basic molecular biology skills are essential. Additional experience in the methods described above is highly desirable.
