Overview of the Role
We're hiring a full-time Reception and Administrative Assistant to join our Facilities, Engineering & Building Services (FEBS) team. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you'll play a key role in providing exceptional receptionist duties and administrative support. Responsibilities of the Role
In this role, you will act as the backup/secondary receptionist, providing coverage. Additionally, you will assist in day-to-day operations by providing administrative support, including managing mail duties, restocking kitchen consumables, and making periodic trips to the local bank branch. You will also be responsible for managing service requests through our work management system (JIRA), ensuring timely resolution of issues and correspondence with inquiries.
Maintaining a safety-conscious environment is crucial, involving routine inspections of NeuRA buildings and office spaces. You will support the maintenance and management of contractors, including record-keeping, inductions, and supervision when necessary. Assisting with event management and room bookings, including setup under the direction of the FEBS Manager, is also part of the role.
Key Skills and Experience
The key selection criteria for this position includes:
- Strong Microsoft Office package skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- Well-developed customer service, interpersonal and communication skills;
- It is desirable to have experience with contractor management systems.
