The Centre for Public Christianity (CPX) is looking for a highly organised Research Fellow for a maternity relief role (10-month contract) to join our North Sydney team.
This role is responsible for researching and producing engaging and high quality written and spoken content for CPX in line with the Centre’s objectives of promoting the truth, beauty, and goodness of the Christian story to the Australian secular public.
This could be your opportunity to:
- Research content relevant to CPX (e.g., theology, science, philosophy, history, and other disciplines) through ongoing reading, attending events, and developing relationships.
- Produce written material for the CPX website, social media platforms, and mainstream media.
- Speaking at internal and external events (e.g., schools, lectures, conferences, festivals)
- Participate in researching, generating and developing ideas for CPX podcasts as well as interviewing stakeholders as necessary.

About You:
- Degree or diploma in humanities or theology is advantageous.
- Experience working in Media and/or Communications.
- Demonstrated experience in research and writing.
- Ability to organise and work independently, using own initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to engage in social media platforms when required.
- A keen understanding of and commitment to the Christian faith and CPX’s role within the community.
