Full time, continuing role as Research Readiness EngineerProvide project management and utilise your exceptional stakeholder skillsBase Salary from $117,116 plus 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityAn exciting opportunity to join the high-impact Research Infrastructure team within the Research Portfolio. As the Research Readiness Engineer, you will ensure implementation of the infrastructure services associated with the University's Core Research Facilities (CRF) & Research Service Units (RSUs). You will provide overall project management and act as an interface between a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.Your key responsibilities will be to:manage Research Readiness organisation and establishment to deliver infrastructure services supporting installation of research equipmentmanage the development and implementation of Research Readiness plans to deliver capability-supporting infrastructure projectsdevelop and embed a project governance and reporting framework to monitor implementation, progress and delivery of your projectsmanage diverse project stakeholders and collaborate with project teams to ensure that project deliverables and milestones are achievedmonitor project financials against budget with a focus on maximising value for the University and Research Infrastructure.About youtertiary qualifications in a relevant field (engineering, science etc.) and/or extensive experience with capital works and/or construction projects managementexperience working in the higher education sector or within a multi-faceted, complex organizationexperience project managing multiple work streams, or leading large, complex projectsstrong stakeholder management and relationship building skillsfinancial management experience with the ability to manage project budgetsexcellent communication skills with sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills.To keep our community safe, please be aware of our which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
