The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ongoing full-time Research Support Officer to be part of our SARDI & Major Programs Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive administrative, business and governance support services to management and staff in Crop Sciences at the Waite Campus (Hartley Grove).
This entails raising a high number of invoices with due diligence and in a timely manner. Raising Purchase Orders and processing payments, monitoring contract milestones reports, creating new casual staff contracts, processing of fortnightly timesheets, , preparing Agendas and Minutes for Administrative staff meetings, managing vehicle logs and servicing of vehicles, and general Reception duties.
The Research Support Officer has the key responsibility of ensuring administrative services are managed in a manner that is efficient and at the same time portrays a friendly and professional environment.

Special Conditions
- Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.

ASO2 - $57,842 min - $62,221 max per annum, plus superannuation
