Our client’s 300 employees provide culturally appropriate support and care, working in partnership with older individuals and their families.
They are currently seeking a Residential Aged Care Manager to join their passionate team in Balcatta WA.
About the opportunity
As the Residential Aged Care Manager, you will provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of their Balcatta facility, including workforce planning and clinical governance. This dynamic position will see you supporting and leading 10 direct reports and 150 indirect reports.
Collaborating closely with the CEO and board to accomplish the organisation’s strategic objectives. You will ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality services for residents, families, and stakeholders. Encompassing and upholding their values, you will promote a collaborative and proactive team culture that fosters information sharing and ongoing learning.
You will oversee staff recruitment within agreed targets, budgets, and minimum requirements. Additionally, you will address the educational needs of staff, by providing continuous training opportunities and evaluating staff performance in alignment with company policies.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing staff availability, rostering, onboarding and inductions as well as performance reviews
- Encouraging feedback and complaints from clients and family members and providing resolutions
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with company values and legislation
- Managing WHS and implementing policies and procedures to work towards a zero injury target
- Assisting with the development and review of budget forecasts and variations
- Supporting the CEO and the Board to maintain adherence to corporate governance
- Auditing policies and procedures and providing action plans
This role will see work outside of hours from time to time including evenings and weekends to assist with team availability.
About you
You will have experience in a similar role. You will have a valid Driver's License, AHPRA registration, a National Police Clearance and be up to date with all COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations.
