An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Aged Care Manager to work as the Home Manager - Residential Services. Opportunities for placement in the beach side suburb of Glenelg in South Australia.
Role overview:
The ideal candidate would be a progressive, energetic leader with operational management experience.
The role would be responsible for the overall effective management of the home, ensuring the delivery of premium clinical care, maintenance of standards, promotion of a positive work environment and operational efficiency. They will oversee the management of physical resources, ensure the maximisation of revenue and adherence to accreditation standards and delivery of care, and effectively manage the administration.

Key Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in an aged care setting, preferably in a residential and / or community setting in a relevant supervisory or management level position.
- Knowledge of AN-ACC funding principles.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in the provision of aged care.
- Tertiary qualifications in business management, gerontology, or a related discipline (desired but not essential)
- Be an effective and engaged leader by establishing direction and purpose for your team members that is aligned to our vision, values and capability framework.
- Undertake a commitment as a professional role model, demonstrating values-based approach to all areas of business.
- Manage staff performance, including development, ongoing learning and promoting accountability for customers and service outcomes
- Lead a culture that engages employees through communication, recognition and collaboration.
- Guide, support and mentor employees to deliver high-quality person-centred care.
- Proactively encourage a team environment and a 'learning culture'.
