These newly created roles are great opportunities for experienced Clinical Leaders, who are eager to join a well-known Aged Care Provider that operates in the North-Eastern suburbs of Adelaide.

In addition, we maintain a full spectrum of care that seeks to meet our Residents’ physical, spiritual and emotional needs. Currently we are seeking two experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated General Managers to join our growing Clinical Team at either Ingle Farm or Campbelltown/Paradise.

The role:

As the General Manager Residential Services, you will lead the delivery of resident focused care and have overall quality, financial and operational accountability. This role will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of high-quality services in accordance with the new Aged Care Quality Standards through effective management and leadership of the workforce, financial and other resources.

Working as part of an experienced Leadership Team, you will ensure consistent compliance with all Aged Care Quality Standards, as well as Warrina Homes’ policies and procedures, while driving best industry practice.

Other responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting staff in the delivery of person-centred care.
• Ensure clinical audit reports are reviewed monthly and that data is analysed, and actions taken as required to ensure compliance.
• Ensure Clinical Care Coordinators and Care Managers complete assessments and planning of care for all residents and are evaluated timeously.
• Ensure the Care Manager and Clinical Care Coordinators complete the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment in a timely manner as per the legislative requirement.

The skills we are looking for:

• Formal qualification and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 3 years’ experience in actively leading and supporting a team to ensure appropriately skilled staff are recruited, mentored and rostered to achieve optimum outcomes for all stakeholders.
• Leadership and management experience in a complex environment including evidence of ability to build and develop strong operational service teams.
• Identify and participate in opportunities for improvement in the delivery of service to the Residents and contribute to the Continuous Improvement process.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation applicable to Residential Aged Care Services including funding and accreditation systems and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as proven strengths in the ability to relate to stakeholders and staff on all levels.
• Experience in managing and leading teams through change, collaboration, report writing, and problem solving.
• Demonstrated ability to meet financial outcomes within an Aged Care Service environment including development of annual budgets, financial monitoring and maximisation of income.

Requirements:

• Valid Australian working rights.
• Current Flu Vaccination.
• Current Aged Care Specific Police Clearance (or willing to obtain).
• Have a valid driver’s licence.
