About our Opportunity

We're looking for a sales hunter to join Trend Windows and Doors QLD to develop new business opportunities with architects, homeowners and builders when looking for windows and doors solutions for their new build or renovation project within SEQ. The role will predominantly be on road as you strategically canvas new business opportunities targeting new customers supported by an internal sales team. You will diligently plan, organise and carry out selling activities that will enable you to exceed your sales targets. 

In addition, you’ll:

  • develop product and industry knowledge
  • strategically execute business development initiatives to generate sales leads and achieve KPIs, revenue and margin targets
  • interpret technical design plans
  • preparation of quotations and presentations, placement of orders
  • preparing selling activity reports

About You

We’re looking for a results focused sales hunter with a strong service ethos who thrives in taking the lead in managing their own work schedule, experience within the building industry along with technical aptitude to understand our products is a must. Leveraging your ability to build positive relationships along with your capability to negotiate, close deals, combined with your ability to proactively find and develop new business will be key to your success in this role. 

As well as:

  • windows and doors knowledge, highly advantageous
  • solutions selling capability
  • team collaboration and the ability to manage work independently
  • understand the technical product, building codes, regulations, including Australian Standards
  • ability to use CRM systems as a tool for activity sales planning and customer records
