The role will predominantly be on road as you strategically canvas new business opportunities targeting new customers supported by an internal sales team. You will diligently plan, organise and carry out selling activities that will enable you to exceed your sales targets.In addition, you’ll:
- develop product and industry knowledge
- strategically execute business development initiatives to generate sales leads and achieve KPIs, revenue and margin targets
- interpret technical design plans
- preparation of quotations and presentations, placement of orders
- preparing selling activity reports
- windows and doors knowledge, highly advantageous
- solutions selling capability
- team collaboration and the ability to manage work independently
- understand the technical product, building codes, regulations, including Australian Standards
- ability to use CRM systems as a tool for activity sales planning and customer records
