About the role
As the Residential Services Manager at our Wantirna aged care residence, you will utilise your experience in a similar role to provide leadership and effective operational management, so that our residents always receive the best care possible. Working closely with the General Manager, you will also be responsible for the performance of the facility with regards to budget management, employee engagement, quality assurance and clinical care.
About you
You have previously held a leadership position within the aged care sector, where you displayed your outstanding interpersonal skills and promoted a positive workplace environment. A naturally motivated and determined leader, you can work unsupervised and enjoy the challenge of managing all facets of an aged care residence. As an exceptional communicator, you build strong relationships with your many stakeholders and value the importance of patience, common sense, respect and acting with compassion. You easily relate to older people, and you understand the issues related to the services they require. You have well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills with experience meeting deadlines and attending to multiple tasks.
Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Act, ACFI/AN-ACC, Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards and relevant legislation
Experience with effectively managing Covid-19 outbreaks
Workforce planning and management expertise
