Your new role
- The primary purpose of role of the Service Manager is to develop and manage the activities and competence development of the team, efficiently deliver project, field, and technical services to customers until customer satisfaction and desired business results are achieved.
- The Service Manager has the overall responsibility of the project and field service delivery portfolio including planning, resourcing, budgeting, and reporting to the business for their given application area and region.
- The Service Manager has the overall responsibility for the technical support capability for given application area.
- Global customer support scope as needed per competency pool.
- Ensure contract obligations are being met for service deliverables.
- Monthly, Weekly, and annual reporting as directed by contract obligations.
- Coordination between field engineers or subcontractors and the customer as for service, repair, or warranty work as directed by the customer or service contract.
- Monitoring of case queues for system outages and coordination of activities to resolve and communicate resolutions based on contract requirements.
- Managing inventory levels to meet contract obligations and replenish stock levels as necessary. Additionally, will assist with inventory accounting and management.
- Managing service agreements between the company and subcontractors.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field. Required Work Experience
- Previous work where demonstrable customer service delivery is required.
- Previous experience in a managerial role within a technical environment.
- Minimum of 4-year working experience as a manager.
- Ability to develop teams for present and future needs to ensure growth of desired business.
- Enable and align team to meet business growth, customer satisfaction and targets.
- Understand of capacity & competency planning.
- Understanding of process development.
- Understanding of budget management.
- Understanding of scope & risk management and mitigation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
