We have an exciting opportunity for a Trade Service Centre Manager – Moorabbin to join our team in Victoria.  You will be responsible for co-ordinating Victoria’s Trade Service Centre’s operations to achieve the goals defined in Ausreo’s National Service Centre Retail Strategy by being accountable for the sales and profit performance of Victoria’s Trade Service Centre operations. You will be responsible for the sales and profit performance of all Victoria’s Branch operations, as well as managing, coaching and developing the employees to enable them to effectively engage within their teams and deliver their Branch offering.

The role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  1. Establish key performance measures, targets and activity plans for Victoria in accordance with Ausreo’s National Service Centre Retail Strategy
  2. Regularly monitor Victoria’s trade market space to promote, sell new products and services and identify other opportunities to grow Victoria’s Trade Service Centre Network space
  3. Identify new business opportunities and mutually beneficial partnerships with key customers and suppliers to drive revenue growth and increase market share
  4. Ensure the Service Centre Network delivers superior customer service and achieves business performance objectives
  5. Support the Trade Service Centre Managers in major customer negotiations such as large project home builders and contract type work outside of general trading
  6. Leading the Victoria team and creating an inclusive, collaborative environment for our employees



To Be Successful

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously. The ideal candidate must also:

  1. Tertiary qualification in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  2. 8+ years of Trade/Wholesale Executive Sales experience in a building material/accessory business environment
  3. Ability to successfully lead teams to deliver superior customer service and achieve business performance objectives by assisting and developing employees for future company growth
  4. Ability to leverage relationship opportunities to generate sales in line with company pricing strategies
  5. Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery within agreed timelines
  6. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing priorities
  7. Exceptional customer service and communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior management, project stakeholders
