We are looking for a Site Manager with experience in residential construction to join our team.

This key role is broad, fast-paced and will integrate with the company’s wider interests within the property sector including modern construction methods, digital innovation in smart cities and sustainability.
Nicheliving is dynamic and multi-faceted property group offering comprehensive services across new home and land, apartment developments, project marketing, construction, financial services, real estate sales and property management.
This position is suited for an experienced Site Manager, who is able to work autonomously and is looking to step into a Team Leadership position.
In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations to achieve construction deadlines by managing suppliers and contractors, compliance and safety of all workers.
- Trade background
- Understand relevant legislation including the Building Code of Australia and Workplace and Safety requirements
- Understand working drawings and site work requirements
- Competent with construction management software and use of an iPad
- Come with your own trade base
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- An eye for quality and detail
- History working with multi unit sites would be ideal
- Exposure to timber framed construction
- Ensure speed of progress claims
- Excellent customer service skills and be able to talk an interact with customers
Skills & Experience:
- Supervise and manage day to day construction of new homes from beginning to end
- Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensure that the client’s specifications and requirements are met
- Liaise with the client, other construction professionals
- Coordinate and supervise construction workers
- Conducting safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
- Resolve problems that arise due to inclement weather, emergencies; delays in delivering materials or other issues that may cause delays
