SalaryThe lodge Jamberoo are looking for an upbeat and driven dynamic duo to join our team with a long term commitment in mind.
With two roles live-in roles available, the first, guest services manager and the second, the grounds manager.
The lodge is not just a hotel, restaurant, bar, wedding venue and spa located on 9-acres of jamberoo beauty, we are a venue driven by the small details and the guest experience. Located 15 mins from ocean and kiama town.
We want a couple who are eager to submerse themselves into the lodge way of life and hit the ground running.
Role 1 - Guest Services Manager
Key responsibilities:
⁃ manager and oversee all aspect of the guest experience
⁃ Maintain guest and customer relations and online reviews.
⁃ Respond to guest requests or needs on site
⁃ Administrative and office duties as required.
⁃ Manage and oversee wedding operation
⁃ Quality control in accommodation and housekeeping standards
⁃ Linen ordering and management
⁃ Online bookings management
⁃ Managing check in and check out
⁃ Conducting wedding inspections
⁃ On the day wedding and event co-ordination
⁃ Assisting with event set up, including food and beverage components
Role 2 - Grounds Manager
You will be responsible for the upkeep and improvement of the grounds working with the Property manager. Handy man/trade skills/ gardening experience is preferred. Tasks will include but not be limited to:
⁃ Manage the grounds of the property
⁃ Ensuring property is maintained
⁃ Mowing lawns, gardening, weeding, whipper snipping, hedging etc
⁃ Rubbish removal and management
⁃ Managing septic removal (we are not connected to council sewer)
⁃ Maintenance, trouble shooting and fixing things around property
⁃ Maintaining cleaning storage and supplies and linen storage and supplies
⁃ Check gas supplies and order as needed
⁃ Check water supplies and order as needed
As the role is live-in you will be dually responsible for Onsite after-hours security and noise management when required.
