About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive, passionate individual to manage the rosters for up to 40 Disability Support Workers in the Newcastle region for our Lifestyles programme.

Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):

  • Managing fortnightly rosters of up to 40 support workers and filling unplanned leave shifts
  • Identifying and assessing support workers availability, capability and suitability to effectively match resources to business requirements and to maximise utilisation.
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with managers in order to understand and respond to business resourcing requirements.
  • Building sustainable relationships with support workers to increase engagement and utilisation and retention rates.
  • Liaising with clients and their families as a main point of call for shift changes.
  • Maintain accurate roster information within designated business systems
  • Scheduling and billing of services provided

About you:

  • Experience managing rosters will be highly regarded
  • People management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment
  • Excellent communication, the ability to work well in a team environment and independently and proactively
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Exceptional time management and ability to handle competing workloads
  • Current NSW Driver's License
