Husk Farm Distillery is a landmark venue in the beautiful Tweed Valley, welcoming locals and tourists alike to our onsite restaurant and bar.
We are now looking for a Restaurant Front of House Manager to join the team.
This is a hands-on role that involves all operational aspects of Front of House management, including team leadership, supervision, food and beverage service, and constant staff training.
We run a busy lunch service. This is a unique daytime hospitality role with standard opening hours from 11 am to 5/6 pm.

You will be responsible for:
- Delivering 'unreasonable hospitality' to visitors
- Running the floor during service
- Providing effective leadership and mentoring
- Fostering team culture and training
- Working with the Head Chef and Bar Manager to ensure smooth service
- Collaborating with the Reservations Coordinator to maximize bookings and ensure smooth communication
- Assisting with meeting financial and business targets
- Ensuring POS systems are up to date
- Shaping a welcoming and happy ambiance and service style
Your key performance indicators will be:
- Achieving the wages/revenue target
- Delivering positive guest experiences, measured through reviews
- Increasing revenue through spend/head
This role will report to the Venue Manager.
It is a permanent part-time (32-hour) role with a fixed 4-day roster (Wednesday, Friday-Sunday) working day shifts from 9 am to 5:30 pm.

- A seasoned FOH professional with a proven track record at large and fast-paced venues
- Motivated by high performance
- Experienced with and enjoy working to KPIs
- An excellent communicator
- Passionate about hospitality and making people's day
- Have a 'lead from the front' attitude
- Strong focus on creating a happy and efficient work environment
- Hold a valid NSW RSA
