Job Description
We're looking for a Restaurant General Managerto oversee the running of two restaurants in Townsville.
Initially you will partner with the Restaurant Manager at our Willows location, managing the general running of the restaurant. Then, once you're up and running and confidently trained as a GYG leadership team member, we will introduce your second restaurant.
In addition to taking ownership of the general running of two restaurants, you will elevate the customer experience from excellent to remarkable, develop the team through coaching and training opportunities and manage inventory and the financial aspect of the restaurants. You will be in control of, and have accountability for overall quality, adherence to procedures and financial performance of the restaurants.
We appreciate experience comes in many shapes and sizes, what we mean specifically is;
- Experience leading a team within a busy, high volume hospitality environment (fast food or quick service restaurant environments are ideal)
- Experience delivering exceptional customer service
- Exceptional communication skills
- Prior experience with achieving KPIs and driving profitability
- Ability to build great teams and develop managers
- Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise
