THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Group Beverage Manager at Momento Hospitality, you are responsible for but not limited to:
- Lead and develop Momento’s beverage department with a hands-on approach, setting the standard for exceptional service and collaboration.
- Display an in-depth understanding diverse product knowledge, including wine, spirit, and non-alcoholic offerings.
- Establish and maintain best practice standards for beverage service across all venues to ensure consistency and quality.
- Design and deliver regular training sessions to keep the team updated on new products, techniques, and industry trends.
- Work closely with the stocktake department to ensure accurate inventory levels. Provide beverage training and implement corrections based on stocktake insights.
- Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, driving revenue initiatives and contributing to the financial success of Momento’s beverage program.
WHO ARE YOU
As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a group-level beverage focused role.
- Exceptional beverage product knowledge – with the ability to pass this on through development and mentorship.
- Team oriented approach to management with a mindset of open communications.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic standards for beverage operations.
- Adaptability to support venues as required, ensuring seamless operations.
- Competencies using SwiftPOS and eBev highly advantageous.
- Confident in 'managing up' and influencing teams.
- Excellent communication; written and verbal.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
