Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with chefs to plan menus that showcase authentic Chinese flavors and align with our brand identity.
• Organize and manage special functions, ensuring seamless execution and customer
satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyse sales, expenses, and other key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to maximize profitability Coordinate the purchasing and pricing of goods within budgetary constraints, with a focus on quality Chinese ingredients.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain costeffectivenessMaintain accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as health and safety standards, to maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and customers.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues and exceed customer expectations Solicit feedback from customers to assess satisfaction with meals and service, addressing any issues promptly.
• Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of service.
• Handle reservations, greet guests, and assist in taking orders as needed.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in restaurant management, preferably in the Chinese food industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Chinese cuisine, ingredients, and culinary techniques.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with staff and customers.
• Proficiency in inventory management, financial analysis, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
