Located in the heart of Sydney CBD, Edition Dining are a specialist single-origin coffee roasters. We bring a new flair to the Sydney coffee scene. With a passion for coffee, our award-winning Japanese and Scandinavian fusion cafe carefully curates a unique coffee experience for our discerning clientele at their flagship store in Darling Square NSW.
We are seeking 2 x full-time Restaurant Managers to complement and lead our floor operations. Salary offered is $74K to $85K plus superannuation depending on the skills and experience of the applicant.
Main tasks and duties involve:
· Oversee and monitor daily floor operations for smooth functioning of guest services and dine-in experience
· Ensure exceptional customer service by setting and maintaining high service standards
· Supervise and coordinate all floor staff for tasks and duties on a daily basis
· Create and manage floor staff rosters, and maintain efficient staffing levels
· Resolve any issues such as complaints, feedback, and suggestions
· Collaborate with the Chef to maintain quality, food safety, and consistency
· Manage reservations, seating, and ambience for finest dining experience
· Hire, coach, and performance manage new floor staff
· Ensure a positive and cohesive environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth
· Develop and manage budgets, and prepare reports for the management as required
· Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food and beverage costs
You should ideally have a Diploma, or at least 3 years of proven industry experience. You should demonstrate sound leadership and organisational skills in a fast-paced paced hospitality environment. These roles are open to Australian Citizen and Permanent Residents as well as overseas professionals with suitable skills and English language competency.
