Ensuring that all employees adhere to the restaurant's policies and procedures, including hygiene and safety standards. Monitoring inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, and placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs. Handling cash transactions, preparing daily sales reports, and managing budgets to ensure profitability.
Monitoring expenses and revenue to identify areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures where necessary. Collaborating with the chef to develop and update the menu, taking into account customer preferences, seasonal ingredients, and cost considerations. Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
