We are looking for a skilled Restaurant Manager to join our modern Mexican restaurant that is accomplished in the following areas;
*Leadership:* Lead by example, inspire your team, and foster a positive work environment. Provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient operations. -
*Operations Management:* Oversee day-to-day operations of the venue with support of General Manager.
*Customer Service:* Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience. Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
*Staff Training and Development:* Conduct training, onboarding and inductions for new and existing staff members to improve their skills and knowledge. Provide mentorship and support for career growth within the restaurant team.
*Budgeting and Financial Management:* Monitor and manage financial performance, including wage cost and rostering to budget, ensuring beverage costs and quality is maintained, and engage in ongoing revenue enhancement. Assist in implement strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
*Inventory Management:* Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained to prevent shortages or overstocking. Implement cost-effective strategies to optimize inventory turnover where required.
*Marketing and Promotions:* Work with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to attract new customers and while retaining existing ones.
*Qualifications:*
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of modern Mexican cuisine and trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in restaurant management software (Ideally, 7Rooms, Impos and Deputy) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Understanding of financial principles and budgeting.
