Introduction of the Restaurant

We are looking for a qualified manager who has a restaurant experienced highly regarded to join our team. The venue offers the opportunity to work in a great team.

Must be able to work in fast-paced environment, work with others, willing to learn, multitask and calm under pressure and have a very good understanding of food and all aspects of a restaurant.

Qualifications and skills/experience:

●        Diploma or degree in hospitality, hotel management, culinary arts, or a related field is preferred.

●        At least 3 years previous Experience in a Cafe and or previous customer service

●        Outstanding guest relations and communications skills and the ability to relate to and host resort guests from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds

●        Experience in a management/leadership role

●        Current Responsible service of Alcohol Certificate (desirable)

Responsibilities and duties:

• Recruit, train, develop and mentor F&B Team Members
• Control and positively influence ‘Cost of Sales’
• Monitor table turnover, optimizing seating arrangements and minimizing wait times.
• Operate within department budget
• Collaborate with Resort Manager & Group Food & Beverage Manager to create strategic plans to develop department
• Maintain and develop positive relationships with suppliers
• Make decisions and solve problems concerning menus and staff.
• Comply with Liquor Licensing, Food Safety Plan and OHS requirement
