Raya GSP Pty Ltd is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at our Mooloolaba location. As the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining profitability. Your primary goal will be to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests while maintaining a positive and productive work environment for our team.
Duties Include:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting
- Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability, including creating special promotions and events
- Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in preparation and presentation
- Maintain and enforce health and safety standards in the restaurant
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update menus
- Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and development opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for improvements to the restaurant's operations
Skills and Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and budgeting
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions
- Customer service-oriented with a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
Salary Package: $70,000 -$80,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
