We are a well-established upmarket CBD restaurant and bar specialising in Steak and Seafood contemporary Australian cuisine. Firegrill Sydney caters to a discerning corporate clientele.
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team who has had a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
This person needs to be mature in their approach to customers and staff, be able to establish rapport and be empathetic.
Their duties will include:
- Overseeing service to maintain high standards of customer service and care.
- Efficient rostering of the FOH to meet service requirements and low costs.
- Train floor staff to company standards and maintain supervision.
- Control all FOH consumables and stock.
- Maintain the presentation of the restaurant via repairs and maintenance and supervision of the cleaners.
- Maintain costs on stock control of wine and bar stock - ordering, stock taking and reporting.
- Maintain the Point of Sale system
- Maintain the reservations sytem
- Oversee functions and events
- Operate the Bar and cocktails when necessary
- work in a partnership with the Chef
- have a sound understanding of Australian wine
This will be a full-time role reporting to the Directors
