We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences, managing a team effectively, and ensuring the overall success and profitability of the establishment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and maximize revenue.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, including chefs, servers, and kitchen staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating team members to deliver excellent service.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Customer Service:
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring that all guests receive attentive and personalized service.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience and exceed customer expectations.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets, closely monitoring expenses and revenue to achieve financial targets.
- Analyze financial reports and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales and increase profitability.
- Business Development:
- Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, such as catering services or partnerships with local vendors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities to remain competitive in the market.
- Diploma or higher qualifications in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in restaurant management, with a track record of success in driving business growth and profitability.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
We are offering:
Salary base between $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation for a full-time position.
