Address Botellon Tapas & Wine bar is a thriving restaurant in the heart Graceville; a dining precinct that has become popular for wining and dining in recent years. Positioned on the laurel tree lined street of Honour Ave, it is situated on a prime corner spot with mostly alfresco street dining. It boasts a luxurious but small interior that is reminiscent of a small tapas bar Spain. It seats about 70 customers at a time and can do up to 200 covers on our busier days. Botellon is owned and operated by a local who has a passion for food and wine.
To be considered for this position you must have experience:
For at least 3 years in a similar role.
Managing and training a team larger than 20 people (including rostering)
Confidently communicating with FOH staff (building report while maintaining a professional relationship)
Consistently communicating with BOH in regards to specials/food/rostering
Keep a clean, tidy and organised restaurant
Duties, responsibilities and description of daily tasks:
Planning menus in consultation with Chefs
Planning and organising special/large group bookings
Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
Selecting, training and supervising waiters/waitresses
May take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders.

Tuesday - CLOSED
Wednesday: 3pm-9.30pm
Thursday: 3pm-9.30pm
Friday: 11.30am-10pm
Saturday: 11.30am-10pm
Sunday: 11.30pm-9pm
You will work full-time hours across 5 days. Your shift start and finish times will vary from above depending on the weekly roster. Break times are dependent on hours work as per the award. Salary is $70,000 + super.
We are a small and dynamic team that proficiently and professionally operate Botellon. We are looking for someone to bring structure and organisation to improve on our efficiency.
There is on street car parking available and the train station is a 30 second walk to the front door. It is a very pleasant area to work in if you are looking to get out of the inner-city grind.
