The role details:
Full-time carpet cleaning and Restoration Technician.
- 38 hours per week.
- Overtime focused with a rolling on call roster for techs.
- $25 per hour starting rate which increases when competent and trained,
- $54.46 for all overtime (above Sunday rate and award overtime rates).
- This role also includes a provided vehicle, phone allowance and all relevant equipment for restoration and cleaning.
- All training provided, including IICRC courses.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Emergency water extraction.
- Undertake specialised cleaning tasks.
- Small scale demolition activities.
- Mould remediation.
- Adherence to legislative and regulatory requirements with strong focus on Work Health and Safety legislation.
- Daily compliance and completion of timesheets, worksheets, and other ad hoc administrative tasks.
- General labour duties including lifting.
- Good customer service skills.
- Customer experience oriented.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Working with vulnerable people card.
- Manual drivers License
- Physically fit.
- Up to date police check (3 years) or willingness to get.
- COVID vaccinations.
- Strong work ethic and a positive outlook.
- Some proficiency in using technology and application usage.
- Flexibility to work overtime and outside normal business hours.
Preferred:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous restoration or building experience.
- IICRC Certifications.
- Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) or willingness to get.
